Build safe setup habits, reliable timing and the rhythm and lead foundations needed for confident contemporary playing.

Rock, pop, blues, indie and accessible contemporary songs selected around your age, preferred artists and musical goals.

On this track

  • Guitar, cable and amplifier setup, tuning, pickup controls, gain, EQ and noise control
  • Open chords, movable power chords, single-note riffs and clean string muting
  • Quarter-note and eighth-note grooves, palm muting, accents, rests and simple syncopation
  • Alternate picking, slides, hammer-ons, pull-offs, first bends, vibrato and melodic fills
  • Major, minor, pentatonic and blues foundations with TAB, notation, theory and ear training
